Joint letter on sexual violence prevention and response

NASA has signed on to an open letter initiated by University of Alberta undergraduate and graduate students which calls on university leadership to take concrete steps to prevent and respond to incidents of sexual violence in the university community. NASA recognizes that sexual violence on campus is a pervasive problem that impacts students, staff, and faculty and has long advocated for more robust prevention training and meaningful processes and policies to ensure that any such incidents are investigated and addressed.

We're proud to add our voice to those of the many student groups calling for this long-overdue action, and we call on the leadership of the university to take immediate steps to respond to the 10 demands outlined in the letter.
