Over the past decade, our union has fostered a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with the two other independent post-secondary staff unions in the province, MacEwan Staff Association (MSA) and Mount Royal Staff Association (MRSA).
Through regular meetings, the sharing of information, insights, and support, we have developed a collaborative alliance that has proven instrumental in addressing shared challenges and advancing our collective goals. Recognizing the significance of this longstanding partnership, we have made the decision to formalize our commitment through a new Coalition of Alberta Independent Post-Secondary Staff Unions (CAIPSSU) agreement.
This agreement marks a milestone in our cooperative efforts, setting the stage for continued collaboration, increased efficiency, and strengthened support for our members across the board as we enter bargaining in 2024. We look forward to the continued success that will undoubtedly result from this formalized agreement.
